Who we are
The WJ Boosters Club (“we,” “us”) operates this website to support Walter Johnson High School athletics and activities. You can reach us at info@wjboosterclub.org.
Information we collect
We collect only the information you provide through our forms, which may include your name, email address, mobile phone number, your communication preferences (email/text consent), interests, and, for funding requests, details about a team or club and its activities. For reimbursement or disbursement requests we also collect the name for payment, mailing address, the amount requested, a description of the expense, and any receipts or invoices you upload (which may contain financial information such as vendor or purchase details). We do not knowingly collect information directly from children.
How we use your information
We use your information to process memberships, volunteer sign-ups, contact messages, and funding and disbursement requests; to communicate with you about the Boosters if you have consented; and to operate and improve our programs. To handle a submission we may email a copy to the relevant Boosters officer (for example, the treasurer for a disbursement request) and send you a confirmation that we received it. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
We use third-party services to run this site: Supabase (database hosting), Vercel (application hosting), Resend (email delivery — it processes the recipient address and message contents to send notifications and confirmations), and Google reCAPTCHA (spam and abuse prevention). Google reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Communications & opt-out
We only send email or text messages if you have opted in. You can opt out at any time by contacting info@wjboosterclub.org or by using any unsubscribe instructions included in a message.
Data retention & your choices
We keep submissions only as long as needed for Boosters operations. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by emailing us. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Students & minors
Our forms are intended for parents, guardians, coaches, sponsors, and supporters. Please do not submit a student's personal contact information. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
